Allo, Google's new messaging application

Allo is the name of an interesting Google messaging app that, although it has not yet been released on the market, what we can do is sign up to be the first to use it. We are going to learn about some of the most notable details of this tool, and of course we will also analyze both advantages and disadvantages and features that have caught our attention the most.

Features of the new Google Allo messaging app

It is important to keep in mind that below we are going to analyze some of the features of Allo, but in any case, since we do not have the final version within our reach, of course there will be some changes while they will also introduce new features that we are convinced will be very interesting. .

Basically we are facing a messaging application with interesting features compared to competing versions.

On the other hand, we will be able to send animated gifs, which must be on the phone and we will be able to send them in the most natural and simple way possible.

In addition, it also has a fantastic compression system for all those of you who want to send photos. As you already know, when sending an image we are always conditioned based on its weight, and it can also become a major nuisance for the person who receives it if they require a longer upload.

For this reason, every time we send an image, regardless of the capacity of our device, it will automatically be reduced to a minimum, thus achieving go from several megabytes to just a few kilobytes.

Another interesting detail, inherited from applications like Snapchat, is the possibility of deface over photographs, in addition to that we can also crop videos before sending to our contacts.

Of course, the application does not have a video player, so we will need to install one in parallel.

The stickers have also caught our attention, which have a more original touch than what we are used to, plus we will have the possibility of downloading new ones practically without any type of limit.

Other interesting details are, for example, the fact of being able disable automatic downloading of images and videos, although yes, we still have to include the configuration that allows us to indicate that downloads of this type of formats are only made when we have a Wi-Fi connection.

As we can see, it is a fairly complete application although, at the moment, it still has some shortcomings.
