The first thing we have to do is go to the page www.instagram.com to proceed to recover the password, which will give you access to the typical registration form, but since you already have the account, what you have to do is click on “Login” that you will find just below, and to help you we put this image in which we indicate the exact place.
Process to recover Instagram password
Well, now we will have a new window where we can enter the access data, and if you look closely, in the password box there is also a link called “Have you forgotten her?".
Obviously what we will do is click on said link and we will see a new window where we have to indicate our username or email and, of course, we will also have to write the words that appear in the image to show that we are people.
We click on "Change Password” and at that same moment a new email to our linked email account with a link through which we can change the password.
All we have to do is go to our email and click on the “Reset password” that we will see in the message, so that we will go to a new window where we have to enter the new password twice. It is very important to remember that in both boxes we have to enter the same password, that is, the one we want to use from now on to log in to Instagram.
Once we have done this we just have to click on “Change Password” and we will return again to the main Instagram page where we can repeat the normal process to log in, that is, enter our username and then the new password that we have chosen, so that, if we have not made any mistakes, again we will be able to access our account again.
It is very important that we keep in mind that we must use a password that we can remember, but at the same time we must not use simple names that are easy to guess, and much less data that can appear anywhere such as on the social network itself. For example, if our dog is called Pluto, obviously we are not going to use that password since we would be making it very easy for criminals.
In any case, it is always advisable to use letters, numbers and characters as symbols that allow you to create a password that a priori may not apparently mean anything, even if behind the scenes we have been inspired, for example, by a phrase that we can remember without difficulty.
