Brawl Stars: First steps and tips

Brawl Stars is the new game, and new fashion on mobile phones, from the popular developer Supercell, the same company that has developed Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. This new game has graphics very similar to those of the firm's other games, although with different gameplay for those looking for new sensations.

Brawl Stars controls

The truth is that the controls in this title are few and very simple. Basically, on the screen you can see two joysticks who are responsible for controlling the few possible movements.

• Blue joystick: To the left of the mobile screen you can see the blue joystick. This is responsible for controlling the movement of the brawler. Simply place your finger on it to scroll. The movement is not immediate, so you will have to get used to its use.
• Red joystick: As is customary in titles that involve fighting, the red joystick is used to shoot/attack. It is located in the right area of ​​the screen. With it you can direct attacks, but also, if you only click on it auto attack is activated.

Although both controls are displayed at exact points on the screen, simply placing your fingers on the screen will automatically place the joysticks where your hands are. This allows each player to have the controls in the position they consider most comfortable.

The different game modes of Brawl Stars

Brawl Stars features several different game modes in which players can enjoy different gaming experiences. Each of them has a different objective, and they are interesting in their own way.

In total there are five game modes, at least currently, and these are unlocked once a certain number of trophies are obtained. For that reason, those new to the title will not be able to enjoy all of them. But once unlocked, access to them cannot be lost.

Catchers: The first game mode, to which everyone has access. As the name suggests, it is based on catching gems. These appear through a small hole in the ground right in the middle of the map. When a team gets 10 gems a countdown will begin. If they manage to keep those gems they will win the game. Of course, if both teams have exceeded this number, the one with the most gems will be the one who gets the countdown.

Survival: All against all, and without any mercy. Ten players who face each other on a large map with an area delimited by poison that is reduced as if it were Fortnite. On the map there are boxes that offer a point of strength that increases the brawler's life during the game. They can also be obtained after eliminating an enemy. You can choose another variant in survival duo. In this way, five couples will face each other on the same map.

Robbery: In Brawl Stars you can also loot safes. In heist mode, together with two other players, you will have to go to the other end of the map, into enemy territory, in order to destroy the safe they protect. But don't neglect yours! You also have to protect your safe. The first one to destroy it will win the game.

Brawl ball: A little soccer game. A ball will appear in the middle of the map. The players have to take it and try to score a goal in the opponent's goal. To do this they will use the red joystick. But as long as they have the ball, their only shot will be to get rid of it, so they will have to let it go to be able to attack the opponents.

Robotic fight: A special way to Access is only with tickets. In it you have to destroy a gigantic robot that will attack the three players on the map. As long as one remains alive, fallen players can respawn. During the battle, small robots will appear that must also be defeated to avoid damage.

How to get more brawlers

In total there are 22 brawlers in the game, but only a few are unlocked from the beginning of the game. The first one you have access to is Shelly, which all players will start with and which has a decent life and high combat strength. The other fighters will have to be obtained by winning games or unlocking them with chests.

There are different types of brawlers (special, epic, legendary and more), which vary their gameplay and also the way in which they can be obtained:

• Trophy Rewards Brawlers: As you get trophies you advance along the trophy path, and there you can get different brawlers > Nita (10), Colt (60), Bull (250), Jessie (500), Brock (1.000), Dynamike (2.000 ) and Bo (3.000)
• Special brawlers: At the checkouts, with a probability of 2,57%
• Super special brawlers: At the checkouts, with a probability of 1,17%
• Epic Brawlers: At the checkouts, with a probability of 0,52%

How to get tokens and star tokens

Having already said that the only way (without paying) to getting champions in the game is by opening chests, let's talk a little about how to open them. In Brawl Stars there are two types of 'Brawl Box': a common box and a large box, the second being the one that brings the most content with it. There are three ways to get coins in Brawl Stars:

• Opening chests: With brawl boxes, in addition to getting strength points for the fighters, you also get coins. The amount will just be a matter of chance, but you always get more in the big boxes.
• Getting cups: Another way to get coins in the Supercell game is to win games and get trophies. Among the rewards of trophy path many coins are found. Every certain number of trophies you will be rewarded with 50 coins.
