Honor x40i is launched with a DImensity 700 processor and 50MP camera

Honor continues to improve its already attractive portfolio of mobile devices. Recently, The company has held an important event to officially present the successor to the Honor X30i. The long-awaited model includes important updates and improvements over its predecessor. The first thing that will attract the interest of most consumers will be its striking design. 

The innovative casing on the back reflects light in such a way that it creates an elegant effect. This effect is more evident in the pink model. According to GizmoChina, the company will also sell the product in three other color options, namely green, black, and silver. The Honor X40i measures 7,43 millimeters thick and weighs 175 grams due to its slim design and its compact form factor.

The device's screen is 6,7 inches and has a maximum resolution of 2.388 x 1.080 pixels (FullHD+). The ratio between the case and screen is 93,6%, offering quite thin frames. The bezel-less design also features an 8MP selfie camera which is located on the top of screen. On the back there is another camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and an aperture of f/1,8, as well as a depth sensor with 2 megapixels and an LED flash.

The combination of 8GB/12GB RAM, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and up to 5GB of RAM ensures that the device will have an exceptional level of performance. The built-in battery has a capacity of 4.000 mAh, and supports 40W fast charging. The Honor X40i will come with Android 12 pre-installed and the custom Magic UI 6.1 interface. It also has numerous connectivity options, including Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and a connector for USB Type-C.
