Need for Speed Unbound could be EA's next racing game

The new installment of EA's racing franchise could be titled "Need For Speed Unbound", and could be released as soon as Christmas of this year. Tom Henderson (@_tom_henderson_, on Twitter), journalist and analyst of the video game industry, has been the one who has disseminated this information.

Henderson claims that The game will go on sale on December 2, 2022, and that a trailer for the game will be published at the beginning of next October. However, the journalist also states that the anonymous source who provided him with this information does not know the correct release date of the game. Likewise, according to the informant, a song by rapper A$AP Rocky would serve as the soundtrack of the video, whose duration would be approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds.

The main attraction of the new Need for Speed: Unbound would be its multiplayer mode and its integrated matchmaking system. In this mode, you can meet with other players anywhere on the map and participate in races at different points. According to Henderson, the beta phase of the game will begin on October 13, through the platform that EA uses to test its games in development.

According to one of the many rumors that have been circulating after the news was announced, Need for Speed Unbound's graphics will have a cartoon-like finish, with cartoonish images that will appear with each crash and fire and smoke coming out of the wheels every time the car skids.

If we go by the information provided by Henderson's anonymous source, the release date of Need for Speed Unbound is scheduled for December 2. The title will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC (Windows and Mac).
