How to make an appointment online to make the 2019 rent in offices

The State of Alarm, still in force, has not allowed this year for a large number of taxpayers to file the 2019 Income Tax return at the Tax Agency offices. Because these have been closed to the public, they have had no choice but to make their statement online. However, since June 5, the situation has changed.. Citizens were able to begin requesting an appointment to make the declaration at their nearest office.

The procedures in the offices have begun today, Monday, June 8 and will be accessible until June 30, 2020, a date that is usual every year. And although the state of alarm has prevented the provision of this service in person for about a month, the Tax Agency will not give any more time.

This means that if you have not made the declaration, you have a few days left to process it. Below we explain how to make an appointment to go to a nearby office.

How to make an appointment to make the 2019 Income Tax

One of the ways you can make an appointment to make the declaration is online. It is a very simple process, which will take you a few minutes. First of all enter the website of the Tax Agency and click on the Previous Income Appointment button within the section dedicated to Income. Next, you need to identify yourself. You can do it in two ways: with your DNI/NIE data or with your Cl@ve or Reference. The first is a faster option, since you will only have to enter your DNI or NIE and the validity or issue date.

Another way is to make an appointment through the app, available for both iOS as if to Android. You just have to identify yourself with your reference number and access the sections Income 2019 > Appointment. From this section you can get a day and time to file your 2019 Income Tax return.

On the other hand, you can also make an appointment using the telephone numbers that are operational for this: 901 22 33 44 ó 91 553 0071. You can do it from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. from Monday to Friday. As current legislation dictates, you will have to appear with the necessary hygiene measures (mask), in addition to the necessary documentation.

How to check the status of the declaration from the web

Once you have filed the Declaration, either online or in a physical office, you may want to check the status from the web. We explain how.

First go to the Tax Agency page and click on the Income 2019 section. Now go to the More procedures section and click on the first option: See the statements filed. You can access this section using the electronic certificate or through the Cl@ve PIN, although to do so you will have to be registered and identified in this system. The fastest option is the reference number.

When you have entered you will be able to view the latest declarations submitted. If you have already submitted the 2019 one, do not hesitate to see its status. You can enter this section as many times as you want, since the Return status may change as the Treasury puts your Declaration in order.
