How to share Spotify songs on Instagram or Facebook

Are you a Spotify user and were you missing new features? Well, you're in luck. The most popular streaming music service in the world has just launched a new tool that it has named "My eternal favorites." With it you can share Spotify songs on social networks like Facebook or Instagram with your friends and family.

The new function will give us the possibility to choose between five songs or podcasts and share them on social networks. My eternal favorites is available for both premium users and those who use the free version of Spotify. Below we explain how to use it.

So you can create your list of “My eternal favorites” and share Spotify songs

To access the new My Eternal Favorites feature you will need the latest version of Spotify. Once you have it installed, you will see a large tab displayed in the main panel of the app that indicates: “Share your eternal favorites”. If you don't see it, you don't have it available yet. Don't worry because the function is slowly reaching users, so it may take a few hours or a few days for you to start seeing it.

Once you have clicked on the function, a main menu will be displayed that will take you to another screen where you can create a small list with 5 songs or podcast. You will only have to click on the “+” symbol shown on the right side of each row. When you click on the symbol, a search engine will appear so you can find the song you want to add to the list. Spotify will suggest some of the songs you listen to the most, although not all of the songs you want to add may appear on this list.

When you have the list created, you will see that a “Share” button is enabled. By clicking on it, the app will give you the option to share Spotify songs on social networks. For example, you can share it on Twitter, Facebook, or as an Instagram or Facebook Story. If you have Spotify premium, the tool also It will let you download all those songs or podcasts from the list that you just created. Keep in mind that “My eternal favorites” is nothing more than a playlist that is created by choosing your favorite songs. In this way, once created you can also find it in the Spotify app for PC itself.

My eternal favorites thus joins other functions of the streaming music service that are causing a lot of success among users. We mean "on a loop" or "Over and over again." The two playlists are generated automatically and they are based on the music you listen to on Spotify. While Loop focuses on newer music, Again and Again is about the songs you liked the most in the past. And you, have you tried any of these functions?
