Lenovo's new ThinkBook 15 Gen laptop features wireless headphones

Companies are increasingly promoting auriculares wireless, and it was inevitable that this trend would also affect the computers. With the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2, the first laptop with a built-in pair of wireless headphones, Lenovo take things a step further.

It is a fact that is now official. Lenovo installed a small tray on the right side of the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 It contains a pair of wireless headphones when you pull it out.

Like most of the wireless headphones with technology 'True Wireless', the headphones that incorporate this new lenovo laptop They connect to the laptop automatically when the user removes them from their tray, and they also integrate touch sensors on the sides to turn the device on and off and activate some functions such as changing songs or stopping sound playback. The tray where the headphones are inserted not only serves to store them, but also acts as a charger that recharges their battery.

Unfortunately, the drawback of integrating portable headphones into a laptop is that, whether you want to take a simple walk or if you are about to take an air flight, it is essential that the laptop retains battery power to, in turn, be able to use the headphones and charge them when they run out of power, which can be impractical. On the other hand, most wireless headphones on the market are very easy to wear and can connect without restrictions to any device.

And although integrating wireless headphones into a laptop have their advantages, the reality is that wireless headphones sold independently are much more convenient to use. Plus, there's another problem: Replacing the earbuds would be a hassle if one of them goes missing. So it's hard to imagine that this gesture from Lenovo will become a trend for other companies that make laptops to imitate, but it's a good starting point.

Even so, we must recognize the effort that has been made Lenovo with this new product. If the company had not dared to try, perhaps none of its competitors would have done so in the short term.

The ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 It is a relatively simple laptop. Your screen is a monitor 15 inches with Full HD technology, the CPU that integrates is a XNUMXth generation Intel, has up to 40 GB of RAM and HDD or SSD of different ones with different storage capacities depending on the model, Thunderbolt 4 technology and optionally a Nvidia MX450 graphics card, Plus wireless headphones incorporated. There is a variant of the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 with Ryzen 4000, for those consumers who prefer AMD CPUs.

The aesthetic design of the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 It is characterized by very thin edges, which offers a screen-to-frame ratio of 88%, its casing is made of metal and it has a device that can be activated to cover the webcam and thus protect the user's privacy. Although integrated hearing aids have their limitations, consumers who purchase the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 You will also be able to enjoy a fairly complete laptop.
