Attention Telegram followers! The amazing messaging client you used has been improved even more. There is nothing wrong with the Telegram app. What's more, it is a wonderful app that works perfectly. But, like everything in life, it has aspects that can be improved. AND Telegram X has managed to improve some of those aspects.
It may sound mysterious and even a little suspicious, but this app is nothing more than an alternative version of the original client, but officially supported by the Telegram developers. So you won't have to worry about anything since all its secure functions will remain as they are.
Where did Telegram X come from?
This alternative to the official messaging client emerged as Challegram, the app that won the Telegram Android Challenge contest, sponsored by the founder of Telegram.
Now this application has abandoned its name and has become Telegram X. Vyacheslav Krylov is no longer listed as the developer and can instead be seen Telegram LLC as the developer of the app. This means that, in one way or another, it is now Telegram that is in charge of this application.
Why Telegram X is better than the original client
I already said it, there is nothing wrong with the original client. Even though it looks a lot like WhatsApp, it still has all its incredible features.
Telegram and Telegram X are very similar applications. The changes are minimal on a visual level. The most popular and characteristic modification is found in its fluid animations, which manage to make the use of the app more pleasant. In addition, the speed is improved - or at least it gives that sensation.
On the main screen of the application you can see some changes compared to the original version. We find that the Telegram logo is no longer there, and gives way to two different tabs that encompass chat conversations and calls VoIP. To switch between them, as happens throughout the interface, you can slide your finger across the screen instead of clicking on the tabs.
If we delve into the conversations we see very few changes. The GIF icon has been modified, a new icon has been added to send photographs and the messages have been stylized, giving them a more personal touch, more Telegram.
Then we find other more 'subtle' changes. It returns to the style of chat without bubbles, the possibility of easily switching to the dark theme and automatic night mode, which uses the device's lighting sensor to switch to this useful mode. You can also access advanced settings to change, for example, video recording from a round style to a square one.
One more version fast, fluid and uses less battery. It seemed impossible but it has been done. Now all that's left is download Telegram on your mobile to be able to enjoy it. Or not? The application is available in the Android application store so you can download it whenever you want.
Don't want to delete the original app? No problem! Telegram has never limited the possibilities of its users. You can try Telegram X on your mobile while keeping the original version of the application. This way you don't have to worry about deleting, downloading, testing, deleting, redownloading the original client... A whole process that can be very annoying if the application is not to our liking. And if it finally is, you can always delete the version you don't want with a simple movement of your finger on the screen.
